can somebody help me with my advertizing online job?
few weeks ago i started a online advertising job but i dont think i am doing it right. i have a little baby at home. i cant really live her anywhere and i thought working online could be helpful if i can make some extra money. the thing is that i have no idea how to do it, i really dont have any intrest in business and advertising. i kind a need somebody to tell me how to do it right and to make it work because so far i have no results.

To answer this question one has to know exactly what you are trying to do. Usually the city you live will have counselors working for the city and they usually have programs to help women. They give very good free guidance or you need to buy some books and do your own research and then start.
Working online, you need to have discipline because there are lot of things with which you may get distracted. So do your research properly, know what is right for you, explore all your options, be convinced about what you are doing is right for you, then start doing it. All the best.

How can I find a bartender job in a nightclub in DC? They don’t advertise their jobs online. Any ideas?
If anybody ever found such a job, please, help me out. I just don’t know know where to look. Or maybe I should go and ask in person? Any suggestions are welcome:-)

admin answers:
You just go to any bar and ask for an application. A bartender isn’t the same as a good job where you need a resume. It’s just like Wal-Mart, you go in and ask for an application.

I’m a Zambian girl, age 24 seeking work in the US & Canada. What websites advertise jobs online?Any job will do.
I can work as a kitchen helper, cleaner, shop assistant,au pair, mother’s help, receptionist or any other jobs available.I am computer literate and I am currently working as a bank clerk but would like to work abroad to save up for further studies. I am prepared to work for anyone offering a contract of six months or up to 1 year or more. I would also like to work both inland or at sea on a cruise ship. I can afford to pay my own airfares and all I would need to get to the US or Canada is a letter of offer from my prospective employers so I can organise a work visa here in Zambia. I am an outgoing and friendly person and I am easy to work with. I am ready to work with people of any race, culture or religion and age. I enjoy watching movies, going out for a picnic or visiting an art gallery in my spare time. I also like drawing and sketching and I am very interested in all forms of architecture and interior design. I also like to play volley ball when I’m with friends after work.

Good for you! If youre looking for work like what you described, I would check out craigslist.org – you can pick from ANY major city in the us, and they have everything from job postings to rants and raves to people selling themselves (no lie). Can find jobs in the restautrant industry, etc. Also, Yahoo, Hotjobs, Monster.com are also good websites to find employment under.
Best of luck! San Francisco is starting to have a large cruiseship industry – but the season is not too long…but then there are a 1000 other places to work in this city too! Many beautiful examples of architechture, great museums and displays. I love the Bay Area!
Hope to see you here sometime!

When searching for a job online, is it better to initially call person advertising the job or just send resume
If they have a phone number posted, and is it bad to send your resume w/o having a prior appointment? I just read in some Get a Job book about how it’s presumptous to email your resume! WHat?! How else are they supposed to know who you are etc….

admin answers:
Most online job ads do want you to send your resume online….I agree it’s better to contact them personally, but most of the time it lists the company as “confidential”, so you have no idea who it’s for. It’s not presumptuous to email your resume if you’re asked for 1.
