Your Questions About Business Lead Generation Services

Ruth asks…

How big a part is social media marketing for your business or the company you work for?

What is it primarily used for…lead/sales generation though offer and promos, customer service/interaction, raising brand awareness/credibility, all of these or something different?

admin answers:

Incredibly important. This is how I network; how I get to know other professionals, perspective clients and how I get updated on the latest developments in marketing.

One thing Social Media is used for is for people to get to know you and your business without them having to buy something from you first. They can see whether you are legitimate and professional. This works the other way around too, since you can also use it to learn your customers; what they like, what they need, what questions do they have.
Then it works wonders for offers and promos. Due to the fact that your followers can also share the offer with their friends, a really good offer will spread like wildfire. Social media is used, of course, to raise brand awareness just by posting interesting articles, information and contests.
One more thing quite interesting, is to see how to use social media to do customer research, through surveys and polls.

John asks…

What is the law regarding business referrals?

I currently supply company employees in need of qualifications as leads to training providers who are my clients. I recently had a company in need of getting 60 of their staff qualifications (this is considered a huge lead as we charge £75 per individual). However been a specialist occupational area we notified the employer that rather than having us give the wrong information, we would ask the training provider to assist them with some answers. The provider then returned to us notifying us the lead was interested. Now the lead wants to proceed the training provider is refusing to pay for the leads as they are now arguing they carried out all the work, even after I have argued the term ‘lead generation‘, means the supply of an individual or organisation who requires services.

My question behind all this is who’s right? Had it not been for us the company would probably have never me the employer in need of the qualifications. Yet introducing the business to explain the qualifications in more details seems to have made them think they’ve done everything.

I have a contract in place, and email correspondence of the provider notifying me, that since speaking to them about the qualification they haven’t done anything else with the lead and therefore they’d like us to chase them up, now that we did, they’re rejecting payment.

Does anyone know of any legalities surrounding this topic?

admin answers:

If you have a contract stating that they pay for referals AND you can prove that you made the initial referal then you have a case.

Invoice them and when they refuse to pay take them to court.

Next time do all the ground work yourself. (Alternatively you could find another provider to do it cheaper and refer them to this new company) – Double whammy!

William asks…

Rate: how my transcript is shaping up.. also some other things…?

Hey guys! I’m just a junior in high school in new york city, but I’m looking at universities already. So lets cut to the chase.

I want to go into Business as well as Journalism

My cumulative, weighted average is currently at a 90.3. My grades keep going up every single year. I just got my report card that covers 1st/2nd quarter and mid term grades. Best I’ve ever done at the half way mark.

I’m a minority, first generation hispanic student.

I’m in the honors classes. One of which includes Latin 3. Next year as a senior I’ll be taking AP english.

I’m ranked in the top 10% of the graduating class. But I’m holding on to that honor by a thread. I’m ranked 17th, and if I dropped to 18th, that puts me top 11% xD. hopefully I can hold onto that until it’s time to apply to university.

SATS? Not so great. But I’ve only taken it once.. got a 1510.

Extra curriculars.. I’ve done some pretty sweet stuff.

- Wrote for school newspaper in all 3 years, and I’m editor in chief now as a junior

- This is my first year in mock trial, and I am playing the lead witness for the defense, next year I’ll be a lawyer (it’s reserved for seniors >_<)

- Currently I am attending a highly selective inner city job program.. where I do training for interviews/resumes/etc. Hopefully I do land a job, that'll help my transcript a lot. Though being in this program is quite the honor.

- Probably the thing that stands out most… I attended an 8 day youth leadership conference in Rochester University before this junior year. It's highly competitive. Rochester also gives all students I think a 1000 dollar scholarship automatically, so I can say "hey, look what I got from a major university :]." National Hispanic is also associated with over a hundred major universities such as NYU, Boston, Duke, etc. A major connection.

- Over the summer before senior year I'll also be attending another National Hispanic program, called the Collegiate World Series. This is NYU, and again NYU sponsors some of the money. Here I'll be doing interviews and working on skills with real admission reps from major universities. As well as competing with other students. This can be a good chance to make some connections, and also the program looks great on my transcript.

- Last.. I did community service from 9-11:30am every Saturday in freshman and sophmore years as an aide at my church for bible classes. This year as a junior, and also as a senior (I'll be doing the same) Saturday volunteer is dropped in favor of helping out as an asisstant, youth leader, and part time teacher when needed on tuesdays and wednesdays for high school confirmation classes.

Well that covers it guys. Based on my grades, SAT, activities, how am I shaping up? As it stands, my number 1 school right now is Northeastern. I've been looking at it for months and really love it. As well as Boston University.. and boston college, way too far of a reach? Also I really do need scholarship money.. so hopefully wherever I go I am offered something.

Based on what I want to do and my current profile, can you recommend some universities? I'm in new york and don't want to go any lower than say, North Carolina, don't wanna go far west past Chicago. I want a good, name brand school that I can look into.

Thanks!

Answer:

Since Mizzooo has answered everything except number four, I’ll just answer number four.

Question Number Four: D. 81000

Beginning Inventory 75000
Add: Purchases 160000
Cost of Goods Available for Sale 235000
Less: Cost of Sales (220000 x 70 percent) 154000
Ending Inventory 81000

70 percent is the cost ratio of sales.

Nancy asks…

Ramadan: What do you know about Abu Bakr Ibn Abu Qahafa ra?

Assalam Alaikum

Abu Bakr (Abdullah ibn Abi Qahafa) (Arabic: عبد الله بن أبي قحافة; Transliteration: ‘Abdullāh bin Abī Quhāfah, c. 573 CE – 23 August 634/13 AH) was a senior companion (Sahabah) and the father-in-law of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. He ruled over the Rashidun Caliphate from 632-634 CE when he became the first Muslim Caliph following Muhammad’s death.[1] As Caliph, Abu Bakr succeeded to the political and administrative functions previously exercised by the Prophet, since the religious function and authority of prophethood ended with Muhammad’s death according to Islam. He was called Al-Siddiq (the truthful)[2] by the Prophet and was known by that title among later generations of Muslims.

As a young man, Abu Bakr became a cloth merchant and he traveled extensively in Arabia and neighboring lands in the Middle East, through which he gained both wealth and experience. He eventually came to be recognized as the chief of his clan.[3] On his return from a business trip to Yemen, he was informed that in his absence Muhammad had openly declared his prophethood. Not long after, Abu Bakr accepted Islam and was the first person outside the family of Muhammad to openly become a Muslim. He was instrumental in the conversion of many people to the Islamic faith[4] and early in 623, Abu Bakr’s daughter Aisha was married to Muhammad, strengthening the ties between the two men.[2]

Abu Bakr served as a trusted advisor and close friend to the Prophet. During the lifetime of Muhammad, he was involved in several campaigns such as the Battle of Uhud, the Battle of the Trench, the Battle of Banu Qurayza, Battle of Khaybar, the Conquest of Mecca, the Battle of Hunayn, the Siege of Ta’if, and the Battle of Tabuk where he was reported to have given all of his wealth for the preparation of this expedition.[5] He also participated in the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah and was made one of the witnesses over the pact.[5]

In 631, the Prophet became fatally ill, and after his death Abu Bakr became the first Muslim Caliph. During his rule, he defeated the rebellion of several Arab tribes in a successful campaign, unifying the entire Arabian peninsula and giving it stability.[6] This enabled him to launch successful campaigns against the Sassanid Empire (Persian Empire) and the East Roman Empire (Byzantine Empire) who were threatening Arabia’s borders. Prior to dispatching his army to Syria against the Romans he gave them the following commands which established the conduct of war for later Muslim generations:

Stop, O people, that I may give you ten rules for your guidance in the battlefield. Do not commit treachery or deviate from the right path. You must not mutilate dead bodies. Neither kill a child, nor a woman, nor an aged man. Bring no harm to the trees, nor burn them with fire, especially those which are fruitful. Slay not any of the enemy’s flock, save for your food. You are likely to pass by people who have devoted their lives to monastic services; leave them alone.[7][8]

Abu Bakr’s Caliphate lasted for a little over two years (or 27 months), ending with his death after an illness. Though the period of his caliphate was not long it included successful invasions of the two most powerful empires of the time, a remarkable achievement in its own right. He set in motion a historical trajectory that in few decades would lead to one of the largest empires in history.

Linda asks…

Is my answer okay to this question? Need your economic expertise?

Do accidents cause people?
Children born out of wed lock are commonly viewed as accidents, an unwanted side effect of intercourse. It was therefore widely expected that better contraception and the legalization of abortion would sharly decrease the number of such children. In fact, the pattern has been the opposite. Improved contraception and increased access to abortion developed Western societies has been associated with a sharp, perhaps unparelleled increase in births. Can you offer explanations for that consistent with the economic approach to human behaviour?

This is my answer, please let me know if I should elaborate more.

Due to recent advancements of contraception and more openly-legalized abortions, unintended pregnancies have caused the population to increase causing economic strain on society. Due to the fact these saviors such as birth control are now more pertinent and readily available; people feel the need to be more sexually active and irresponsible which leads to more births. Some individuals may make their decisions based on lack of morality, education, and economical factors.
Assuming everyone who has an unwanted pregnancy believes and decides to abort, the cost of abortion would be the only concern if money really mattered. In Economics Uncut on pg 320, the average price of an abortion is listed to be $370. However the amount of service an abortion clinic is receiving at that time may dictate the price of their services. If someone is in a rural area and plans to have an abortion, they may pay a higher price due to the lack of clinic availability and the amount of business received. Due to recent hardship for some, an abortion may be too expensive even though making the opposite decision would be a life long expensive choice to others. I believe people who cannot afford to abort may end up relying on government assistance to aid them financially. When government aid is dependent upon by these parties, taxpayers are doomed to pick up the extra charges and this cycle effects everyone economically and continues to circulate to the next generation if they are not educated properly about abstinence and contraception.

admin answers:

Not true. It’s the increased pressure of abstinence within the Evangelical Christian community. This community believes a condom is a “provision for sin” and due to Abstinence Only sex education we have a great deal of ignorance regarding proper contraceptive use and is fueling these unplanned pregnancies. Further the delay of marriage in to the late 20′s increases the likelihood of unwed pregnancy. The ‘Christian’ Right likes to blame these ‘problems’ on the media. In reality it’s abstinence based ignorance and the delay in marriage.

Although I agree with religious conservatives who want to challenge the youth to delay sexual activity for a while, I totally disagree with their message that a condom is a provision for sin. I send my Christian friends to the website below which debunks the whole thing against premarital sex in the Bible. That way they have no excuse not to support comprehensive sex education.

Do I have a chance of getting into Yale or Princeton?

Hey,
I’m currently a Junior enrolled in the International Baccalaureate Program (IB). My GPA is a 4.0 with a weighted of 4.6. I am number 8 in my class rank. I’m currently taking all I.B. Classes. I have taken 2 AP Classes so far, AP World and AP Euro. I am part of the first class of I.B. Students at my school and thus have started the following traditions at my school:

-I.B. Council (President for Sophomore and Freshman Year) – I started this at my school and the number has grown by a substantial sum each year.
-I.B. Hangouts (IB Social Gatherings that take place after school once a month) – I started this too.
-I.B. Award Ceremonies/Events – Started these as well.
-There are numerous tiny traditions that I have also started for my I.B. Class, i.e. Class Photos/Superlatives.
- This year, we are doing our first 5K event on our annual “Multicultural Day” in the morning. The goal is to raise 5000 dollars to build a well in a country that lacks clean water and sanitation. I’m majoring in International Studies and might also double major in Film (I’ll do that if I get into Yale). I will be one of the main coordinators of the event, mainly in charge of advertising this event and the cause that goes behind it. I am passionate about sanitation, so that is why I’m helping to lead this event.

I was also in the following leading positions in my school.

-Freshman Class President
-Sophomore Class President
-Debate Club Member

I have participated in the BPA (Business Professionals of America) and placed in 1st in Regionals for Prepared Speech (Osceola County) and 4th in state for Prepared Speech (Florida). I will also be doing BPA again this year.

Won a few film festivals in my local area as well, including one by our local organization, “Community Vision”.

I have over 100 Community Service Hours and will have over 300 by the end of my senior year.

I want to major in International Relations/ Global Affairs. I have not taken SAT’s/ACTS’s/SAT Subject Tests yet, but have been diligently studying for them. Just in case you need to know, I’m a first generation Asian with a low family income.
P.S. I speak English and Urdu, and learning Spanish. All IVY League schools have excellent financial aid programs, so please don’t post about tuition costs.

admin answers:

I would say that, in short, yes. You have a good chance, but you must keep in mind that there are students just like you (or with better qualifications than you) who have gotten rejected from Ivy League schools for no apparent reason. However, just out of curiosity – with your excellent qualifications, why would you choose to major in International Relations/ Global Affairs? I may be mistaken, but it is my understanding that such a major does not lead to the kind of contributions you may be able to make in society (you don’t learn much).

Databases and data warehouses clearly make it easier for people to access all kinds of information.?

Databases and data warehouses clearly make it easier for people to access all kinds of information. This will lead to great debates in the area of privacy. Should organizations be left to police themselves with respect to providing access to information or should the government impose privacy legislation? Answer this question with respect to (1) customer information shared by organizations, (2) employee information shared within a specific organization, and (3) business information available to customers

In this chapter, we listed the five important software components of a DBMS: the DBMS engine, the data definition, data manipulation, application generation, and data administration subsystems. Which of those are most and least important to users of a database? Which of those are most and least important to technology specialists who develop data applications? Which of those are most and least important to the chief information officer (CIO)? For each of your responses, provide justification.

Consider that you work in the human resources management department of a local business and that many of your friends work there. Although you don’t personally generate payroll checks, you still have the ability to look up anyone’s pay. Would you check on your friends to see if they’re earning more money than you? For that matter, would you look up their pay just out of simple curiosity, knowing that you would never do anything with the information or share it with anyone else? Why or why not? People working at the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) were caught just curiously looking up the reported incomes of movie stars and other high-profile public figures. Is this acceptable? Why or why not?

Your Questions About Business Lead Generation Services

John asks…

English Help? Ten Points?

please edit by adding /deleting anything that might be wrong with it. please knwo i am not a native also that i live in CA (pacific time zone ) and this is due at midnight 12. so any help on this would be highly appreciated it.

topic:

What have you done outside of the classroom that demonstrates qualities sought after by universitiesor other educational facilities? Of these, which means the most to you?

While taking biology at my community college, we studied the important of keeping a clean environment and taking care of Earth for both our own need and the needs of our next generation . We frequently participated at local activities in our neighborhood whether it’s planting trees, absorbing animals behavior or picking up trash from the sea , and as a result, I got to appreciate the environment and leave a positive change. Because of the that core instillation that my biology teacher taught me , I now always participate in environmental events.

Most importantly, I’ve always wanted and loved helping others learn things that they thought they will never get. While in High school I, first, volunteered as tutor for my SQL classmates and soon my teacher offered me a job as teachers assistant where, alone side the teacher, I helped my follow classmates to excel in their SQL and Visal Basic classes. But this small portion of my time is not what I hold significant and most valuable to me.

I recall the first year I enrolled in college in (2006) I was very anxious and scared to death about failing and not making it. I was scared because I was the first female to go and to finish high school and most importantly was the first of two generations to enroll in college, and that scared me very much. Moreover, I was constantly being put down by my closes relatives . They told me that there was no chance of me making it in college because our family generation was well known for not attending college. My family made a living by opening what they call a “business” opening a hotdog, ice cream, and little jewelry stands and so on. The fact is I did not want to pursue their path; and about failing they were right ,coming out of high school I barely made it – I got C on almost all my classes -but be the end of the school year ; I had developed a good relationship with most of my teachers and counselor. My teachers encouraged and understood my background , which made me believe that I can make it in college. Their encouragement and motivation lead me to always ask questions and to spend many, many hours at the Students Services Department (place were peers tutor each other). Now, I am a straight A sometimes B student that is planning to transfer to UC Berkeley in the Fall of 2012.

Two years into college, I become a tutor at both my school and my local library . The fact that I was tutoring diverse students at both my school and local library and at all levels and ages made me value every moment and considered it by far the most qualities sought after by any educated person and most importantly me. . The fact that I tutored net just fifteen students or twenty , but more was something I hold valuable and significant. Consequently, the more students I helped the more I felt that I am doing something meaningful . I helped students with many topics some include Math (one of my favorite), Science, English, and finally the neaty grety of technology – how to become self efficient on the computer (my favorite). Every time I’d help a student, I would – specially if the student seemed to be hopeless and lost – explain how I’d had to climb mountains in order to be where I am and do what I was doing, a tutor; and that in a way would comfort the students and made them become more open and willing to give their one hundred and ten to the work at hand. When the students return the next time, they are almost always returning with a smiling face and a better grade then they had previously gotten before coming for help. As a result, I get my thrive from known that students are optimistic and have another chance at becoming successful, after all skies is the limit when it comes to education, right?

In short, the more students come to me in distress and leave optimistic and less stressed e the more I think I have made a difference and the more satisfied , and the more I value what I have done and is doing at the moment.

So have you guys heard of this? Apparently a small town in Oklahoma City had an election in which, John Hamilton or whatever his name is became the youngest mayor in American history. (At the age of 19) so as a future politician/foreign affairs major, this has opened up my eyes a little. Although I’m only 21, I feel as if I could be doing more! But what? How do I gain popularity/strength in my city? Constructive criticism only please! Although I am reminded what my father used to tell me back when I was young, “don’t try to be a great man, just be a man, and let history make its own judgments” thank you and God bless. In any case you would like to see my resume, to view what have I accomplished so far, you’re more than welcome.

Lizzie asks…

Why do the Obama supporters think this is a great tax plan?

It is mind-boggling that Obama supporters so ignorantly believe that life would be rosy for them under his proposed tax plan.

Obama proposes tax cuts to 95% of Americans, but 40% don’t pay any taxes already. So Obama’s plan is to write a government check, taking money from taxpayers and give it to nontaxpayers (basically welfare). So if he plans to do that and implement billions of dollars in government programs, do you sincerely think that can happen?
The only choices he will have is to: 1. Break his promises (not farfetched since he is essentially buying votes now)
2. Raise taxes on everyone. or 3. Raise deficit spending into the stratosphere for generations to come.

The fact is that the wealthy ALREADY pay the majority of taxes.
Corporations don’t pay taxes really -they just pass them on to YOU the consumer in higher cost of goods and services.
The market will have no choice but to continue to tank. (“the argument that “so what, it is already tanking anyway” is just plain crazy)

Taxing the top 5% will severely hinder 4 out of 5 small businesses,
Obama plans to increase capital gains taxes 33%, increase dividends tax 33%, increase the top payroll tax up to 32% and increase the death tax up to 40%.
This can only lead to :
1. Lower employment
2. Less money reinvested in the country.
3. Business closures.
(And Obama’s supposed “tax break” for corporations to bring jobs back to the U.S. would provide only $3K per job -what kind of a lame incentive is that?).

I just hope they remember who they voted for when the Sxxx hits the fan.
(And no, if you think it is bad now, just wait and see if Obama gets elected).

admin answers:

Many people are naive or willfully ignorant of the effect of the “tax burden” on society. Obama promises all kinds of freebies that most people won’t have to pay for directly. Is it any wonder why that is so appealing?

admin answers:

Well, based on the replies here from both the blissfully ignorant as well as the paid liberal operatives, it is clear that the demo-rats are totally clueless regarding the facts you presented. If they really understood this, then they would never vote for him.
Just remember, those of us who are successful and self sufficient can weather any storm if he is elected. We just won’t be creating jobs or hire anyone, and we will most certainly raise prices to offset the taxes. That is an ABSOLUTE FACT. Those who love Obama the most will most definitely suffer the most under Obama’s regime.

Your Questions About Business Lead Generation Services

Mark asks…

we started cell phone services in India in 1996?

but why are most kids born around or after 1980 particularly obssessed with those silly things…i am 1972 born ..and cant understand the silliness and the craze..i could well do without a cell phone at all

at most its used for getting connected to some one when most needed or an emergency..SMSes are great…my average outgoing per month is around 3 to 4 mins ! and incoming isnt much higher either

whats with the new gen and the horrible show off..the i phones and the blackberries and the laptops..i have a business with a turnover of abt 12 cr last yr..and abt a crore and a half of profits ..and i have never felt the need for a PC or a ‘laptop’ at work..my home pc is rarely used for nething apart from entertainment…and i am a technical graduate from a leading college

have we ruined our new generation with this scary craze for so called technology?

for me this aint technology..i would be impressed with a Rs 20 device instead which can make a poor guys life easier

i get scared when i see boys and gurls these days

plz share ur thoughts

admin answers:

What’s so bad about them? Laptops and cell phones are a great way to get in touch with people. Not everyone has the ability to travel around all the time. And a laptop is great for me, because i can take it to campus with me and work on school between classes. I think it is convenient. Just because some people don’t see them as useful doesn’t mean they are useless to everyone.

David asks…

Why would we introduce a carbon tax if the money isn’t going to be used to fix the environment?

The point of a carbon tax surely must be to create a fund for the reparation of the environment and development and implementation of new technologies to lower the impact of our population on our environment that is being degraded, and has been degraded by the use of fossil fuels and the impact of populations using those fuels in the pursuit of profit and lifestyle. We as a race have continually made personnel, social and economical decisions that have degraded our planet with little or no consideration for the world we are leaving for the next generation! If we as a nation continue in this trend are we going to fix the damage done? or are we simply allowing the government to implement another tax that does nothing to ease the burden on our environment and restore the balance of man vs environment. I wish to share two examples of thought. The first is an example of positive engineering brought about by regulation, In the late 1970s to early eighties Germany facing terrible environmental damage by acid rain gave their industries an ultimatum. Fix the problems they are creating or face shutdown. Due to the can do attitude, and the reality that faced the industrial sector, the German industrial sector did (within the time frame) indeed fix a large portion of the problems they were asked to address. Furthermore the Germans became the leaders in the environmental technologies sector and created a new world market of products created by means of technological environmental sustainability. Are we any different? Are the Germans just that more intelligent than we Australians? Or are we simply void of the social conscience because she’ll be right mate! My second example is of Australian attitude to its social and environmental responsibilities. In the late 1980′s I was discussing the benefits of a paperless office to two brothers, both in business, both successful men of means. When I told them of the issues we faced of rising salinity and soil degradation as an environmental issue they both laughed at me and joked they would be long dead before that happened so they didn’t care. I recently caught up with those two gentlemen an reminded them of their previous attitudes towards environmental sustainability and they have both changed their opinions. But when I asked them what they are doing about it both now thought the damage was done and not much could be done without lowering the profit margin.
I put it to the people of Australia, Are we a country committed to real positive change? or are we only committed to lip service? We are truly blessed to be the sons and Daughters of The Lucky Country, It seems to me that now we as a nation need to be world leaders in engineering the changes of human kinds negligent attitude to our environment. I implore ALL Australians, all our politicians, all of our businessmen and all of our citizens to now more than ever look forward to our future and make positive changes in our lives and our government to lead the world into a viable future for not just our children but the animals that share our world. This carbon tax must not supplement day to day abuse of the environment by our government and its people! It must drive our future to environmental sustainability and repair the damage of the past. Remembering if we keep putting ourselves before our environment WE are the problem not answer.

admin answers:

A large part of the carbon tax is apparently going to be given to the less well off people in order to keep them happy so they will vote Labour in the next election . From what I read large industry will not be compensated to the same degree and so that will encourage them to reduce their output of CO2 in order to stay competitive. In the mean time there is research into alternative sources of low emission energy being carried out by private companies and the CSIRO as well as by overseas organisations and in time such research will lead to lower emissions of all kinds not just CO2. Australia has some excellent scientists working in these fields but our population is small as is the amount of research $ available compared to Germany or many other large countries so we are unlikely to lead the world but hopefully will be able to keep up and not fall behind.
Unfortunately many people are concerned only with their own well being and since the effects of climate change are not clearly obvious and are disputed by some scientists and politicians it is tempting to cling on to the idea that climate change etc is all a load of rubbish and can be ignored.
The fact is that most Australians (or citizens of any country) are not willing to accept a reduced standard of living due to high anti emission taxes and really they just want to get on with their own lives earning as much money as possible and being free of having to worry about things like rising sea levels submerging Perth etc.which they believe are unlikely to happen for a long time if at all.

Paul asks…

If JNU force deletetion of MMS videos, why Indian Govt not acting to remove l000s ofwoman cds from net?

Recently a JNU student sent MMS messages to all students of scandal CD taken in the hostel room of JNU with a girl student. To protect its image JNU desroyed the CDs and ordered all students to delete the MMS video from the cell phones.
Similarly the image of our courty is being very badly damaged by the worst kind of videos of 1000 s of Indian women in the internet. Why neither the Indian Government nor the Top Indian leaders are silent when our image is so badly spoiled in front of all world’s eye?
Can’t it be removed from the net by strong measures against it?
Do people have fundamental right to do such things to earn money through net by publishing obscene things?
Definitely the International governments can catch them as the money goes to some body’s bank accounts in their countries, including India? Should not they have to submit returns to IT deptt for monies came to thier bank account?
Why there is no law in the world countries that, it being a business should have a separate office or room from where they link with the web for inspection by the Govt authorities?
It shouldnot be connected with a house by another door so that they can do this web service from a closed room and escape thro’ back doors. And should not they have to get licence from Govt for what exactly they are doing through the web…?
It should be never possible to provide material to the web services from private bed rooms… Why not India take the lead and move with UNO and other Governments to make it very difficult for any one to do such things so easily?
I am sure one of the reason for the wide spread AIDS is this objectional materials spoiling this generation.. Hence should not the UNO work against this if it is serious about eradication of AIDS..?

Betty asks…

Are you happy with the stimulus?

Here are some interesting details on the “stimulus” package. If you would not mind forwarding this along to your friends, family, and contacts, it would be greatly
appreciated. The more info Americans have on this bill, the only thing stimulated will be anger and outrage, because none of this stimulates the economy or creates Jobs.
* The interest payments alone on the stimulus would cost $350 billion over
the next ten years, which means the next generation will have to pay the bills.
* The bill contains nothing in it that would stimulate the economy, but its only
a down-payment on big government spending. In reality, it’s a welfare proposal.
Wasteful Spending Provisions
* $2 billion earmark to re-start FutureGen, a near-zero emissions coal power
plant in Illinois that the Dept. of Energy defunded last year because the project was inefficient
* $650 million for the digital television (DTV) converter box coupon program
* $88 million for the Coast Guard to design a new polar icebreaker (arctic ship)
* $448 million for constructing the Dept. of Homeland Security headquarters
* $248 million for furniture at the new Dept. of Homeland Security headquarters
* $600 million to buy hybrid vehicles for federal employees
* $400 million for the CDC to screen and prevent STD’s
* $1.4 billion for a rural waste disposal programs
* $125 million for the Washington , D.C. sewer system
* $150 million for Smithsonian museum facilities
* $1 billion for the 2010 Census, which has a projected cost overrun of $3 billion
* $75 million for “smoking cessation activities”
* $200 million for public computer centers at community colleges
* $75 million for salaries of employees at the FBI
* $25 million for tribal alcohol and substance abuse reduction
* $500 million for flood reduction projects on the Mississippi River
* $10 million to inspect canals in urban areas
* $6 billion to turn federal buildings into “green” buildings
* $500 million for state and local fire stations
* $650 million for wildland fire management on Forest Service lands
* $1.2 billion for “youth activities,” including youth summer job programs
* $88 million for renovating the headquarters of the Public Health Service
* $412 million for CDC buildings and property
* $500 million for building and repairing NIH facilities in Bethesda, MD
* $160 million for “paid volunteers” at the Corporation for
National and Community Service
* $5.5 million for “energy efficiency initiatives” at the VA
” National Cemetery Administration”
* $60 million for Arlington National Cemetery
* $850 million for Amtrak
* $100 million for reducing the hazard of lead-based paint
* $75M to construct a new “security training” facility for State Dept Security
officers when they can be trained at existing facilities of other agencies.
* $110 million to the Farm Service Agency to upgrade computer systems
* $200 million in funding for the lease of alternative energy
vehicles for use on military installations.
* $275 million for “watershed and flood prevention operations”
* Eliminates fees on loans from the Small Business Administration,
thus pushing private capital toward unproductive businesses and away
from productive businesses.
* Increases the definition of “youth” for certain summer job
programs from age 21 to age 24.

* $160 million to the Job Corps program at the Dept. of Labor, but
not for job programs – rather, to construct, alter or repair buildings.
* Requires a government study on the impact of minimum wage laws
on the Northern Mariana Islands and American Samoa .
* A $246 million tax break for Hollywood movie producers to buy
motion picture film.
* $79 billion State Fiscal Stabilization (slush) Fund to bailout
the States by providing billions of dollars for “education” costs of any kind.
* $47.843 billion is appropriated for a variety of energy programs
that are primarily focused on renewable energy development and energy
conservation/efficiency. Not one dollar is appropriated to make fossil
fuels more affordable in the near future. More than $6 billion of these
funds go to environmental clean ups.
* Increases eligibility for “weatherization” assistance to households 200
percent above the poverty level.
* The “Making Work Pay” credit of $500 to every individual making

Helen asks…

Is my essay ok so far..?

The presidential election this year has been a fight for victory. President- Elect Barack Obama, from the Democratic Party, and Senator John McCain from the Republican Party, both have ideas to change the future of America. These candidates have plans to conquer the problems one faces in his/her daily live including, but not limited to: Social Security, energy, health care, and Medicare.
The Social Security system is definitely a major issue in the presidential election. Obama has proposed levying a 2 percent to 4 percent tax on payroll earnings above $250,000 a decade from now to deal with Social Security, but experts say that would only fix a small part of the problem with the pension program. He will also eliminate income taxes on those over 65 earning less than $50,000. Obama insists, “Social Security is fixable.” He later replies, “It’s going to require some courage and it’s going to require some bipartisanship.” However, Obama disagrees with McCain’s plans. McCain has modified his support for creating private Social Security accounts. “I won’t hand off to an unluckier generation a system that’s broken, I promise you that. He said, “And it’s broken and you know it and I know it and we’re going to fix it and we’re going to make the case to the nation that the Republicans and Democrats have to sit down together and fix this system.” McCain feels that his support for lower taxes on investment and business income is linked to Social Security solvency: Lower taxes would lead to economic growth and increased productivity, which would generate payroll taxes that are essential to keeping Social Security functioning.
Medicare is another primary issue in the 08 election. Senator McCain says, “By 2019, Medicare will be broke. We are currently spending more on Medicare than we are collecting in payroll taxes and cashing in the few IOUs left in the trust fund.” His proposals to fix this include: Reforming the payment system for Medicare by compensating providers for diagnosis, prevention and chronic care coordination rather than rewarding those who provide “more and more complex services.” McCain feels we should focus first on helping the uninsured and older people who can’t afford medicines. Under the drug benefit, he said, middle- class Americans are subsidizing wealthier Americans, who could afford to pay for their prescriptions. “ It did not make any sense to spend billions to create a huge new entitlement that covers people who don’t really need it,” McCain said. When asked about the same subject, President- Elect Obama says, “Medicare is what keeps me up at night.” He also said, “That’s the thing that’s going to boring a hole through our budget and crowding out everything else.” He wants to negotiate the prescription drug prices and will invest $10 dollars in health care for providers. He also said, “ We can’t solve this just by cutting people’s benefits or squeezing providers more.”

admin answers:

You don’t need to capitalize after colons.

And

” Obama has proposed levying a 2 percent to 4 percent tax on payroll earnings above $250,000 a decade from now to deal with Social Security, but experts say that would only fix a small part of the problem with the pension program.”

This sentence is a run on. It’s all about the “but”. You’ve got two options:

1) ;but,

2) . But….

Those are just minor things though. Everything else was superb .

Your Questions About Business Lead Generation Services

Lizzie asks…

How do I Get Sales Support for a Small Business on a Budget?

I have a small business selling a web-based software service for K-12 schools (SaaS). I’ve invested in marketing activities and events and now I have some good leads–actually, I have more activities and events planned that will create even more leads. Having made the investment in marketing and lead generation, I’m not realizing that I don’t have the time (and maybe even skill-set / personality) to follow up on and pursue leads and manage the sales process. What are my options for getting quality sales support on a budget for a small business that targets the K-12 school market?

admin answers:

Hire an internet marketing company. There are some that can handle from making your site, marketing it and even up to handling shipping.

Maria asks…

I sell permission based lists & sales leads.?

There are millions of small businesses whom I believe could use my services, but most of those (that I’ve dealt with so far) do not have an ad or purchasing budget, and so cannot afford to buy my products.

There’s also a stigma that goes with being a list broker: every prospective buyer thinks he’s about to get taken, or that he will be purchasing a lousy list. Even if he/she does buy the list, they still blame the broker if they cannot close sales opportunities generated from the list. I promise warm leads with verified contact info, not laydown buyers. How can I best connect with experienced marketers, who understand the lead industry, and know what they are buying (and not buying)? Please don’t suggest providing free samples, because not only doesn’t that not show the quality of the actual list purchase, but it also attracts the worst kind of customers-those who want something for free, and then they never buy anything. (There’s a whole scam based on getting free live leads from list brokers and lead generation firms, and never buying anything from them.) PS: I have provided references of satisfied clients, buyer testimonials, and case studies of firms we’ve worked with, but I still cannot sell enough leads and lead gen. services to earn a living in today’s highly competitive and overly-suspicious business environ. All sensible suggestions appreciated-

It’s got too much ‘flannel material’, designed to improve attraction of the position.
Note the plural ‘Immediate openingS available. Could be some RAPID expansion, though I doubt it or.
It could mean there’s a Big turnover in staff, meaning nobody likes working there.

Need to learn how to make a website and market it online… suggestions?

I run a small business and am in need of a more fully functioning website. We have a service style business (nothing will be actually sold online) and the website will be used for credibility and lead generation. I have extremely limited knowledge of web design and search engine marketing, but a great deal of work ethic and plenty of time to learn. What would be the best way to learn how to create a website (I have heard dreamweaver and photoshop are essentials… which would mean I need to learn HTML, CSS, and Java?) and learn how to do search engine marketing effectively for my local business? Any free options for learning would be great, but I am also willing to spend money on education and software (of course) if necessary. Thank you!!

admin answers:

This is tricky, and when I have someone saying “I want something professional, current, interesting, and pretty, but I want it to be optimized for search engines from the ground up, and I want it to interact with social media..” I just stop them and say “if you could do 40% of that on your own, you’d have a new day job that pays better.”

Really if you “need” all that, get yourself on with an SEO savy web design company (http://www.moonrisedesign.com/ is the best I’ve found) that knows social networking. They will give your page a midas touch, even if you started with straw. I’ve seen people take pretty bad ideas to them and turn a profit with the results. Simply amazing what talent can do.

Given that you’re small and want to do it solo, you’re either going to compromise on your goals or you’re going to have to give in to one of the less professional options, like a blog or a CMS type site where you’ll get a lot of hand-holding but you won’t be able to go play on your own as much and your results won’t be much better than someone else using the same style service.

I had some good results recently with a project over at Joomla Shack (http://www.joomlashack.com/) using some of the Joomla templates they offer. It’s good open source stuff, rather portable, and for the most part you’re really not locked into anything. Great for the person with the time but not the mindset or the money. ;)

Checking here is a great idea because you’ll get a good mix of experience/suggestions!

Good luck!

William asks…

Can anyone help me find what the price of what this financial problem would be?

I need to find the break even charge of this problem. I understand how to do that, my issue is that I cannot figure out what the price to charge will be. If anyone can lead me in the right direction that would be great.

A city is trying to decide how much to charge residents for trash collection. They have estimated that 5,000 households and 250 businesses will use their service in the coming year. Average household trash generation is estimated to be 10 kilograms/week. Average business trash generation is estimated to be 200 kilograms/week. The city will collect trash 52 weeks per year. The city has the following annual fixed costs:
Maintenance Facility $500,000
Administrative Salaries $300,000
Administrative Supplies $20,000

The only strictly variable cost is the tipping fee charged by the county landfill for trucks unloading waste. It is $2/kilogram of trash

The city additioally has costs related to the trash trucks. There are two different types of trucks, one for households and one for businesses. The household trucks can serve a maximum of 1,000 households/week and the business trucks a max of 200/week. Fuel costs for the trucks are estimated to be $2.50/gallon. A household truck is estimated to consume 40,000 gallons of fuel per year and a business truck 20,000. Supplies expense for each truck is estimated at $10,000/ear regardless of the type of truck. Deprecition expense on each household truck is $20,000/year, $30,000/year for each busiess truck. For labor expense, each household truck requires 2 operators and 1 maintenance worker. Each business truck requires 1 operator and 1 maintenance worker. The average salary/worker is $40,000.

The city’s charge policy is for the charge for each busiess to be twice that of the charge per household.

admin answers:

52(5000(10) + 250(200)) = amount of trash picked up per year in kg = 5,200,000kg = x

500,000 + 300,000 + 20,000 + 2.00(x)= fixed costs and dump fees = 11,220,000.00

5 household trucks and 2 business trucks needed.
5(2.50)(40,000) + 2(2.50)(20,000) + 7(10,000) = 670,000

depreciation on trucks
5(20,000) + 2(30,000) = 190,000

Labor
[5(3) + 2(2)] 40,000 = 760,000

Total cost for the service = 12,840,000
12,840,000 = 250x + 5000(1/2)x
12,840,000 = 2750x
4669.09 = x
Each household pays 2334.54, each business 4669.08.

“Can you suggest me” is not correct.
Neither is… “having expertise”

Sharon asks…

What Do I Do When This Happens? (Business Decision Help)?

I’m in the process of creating an all inclusive service for small businesses to fully automate the sales process of owner websites to generate prescreened qualified sales leads that convert, but for any keywords with “lead generation” in the phrase, it costs upwards of $10 per click on average and I can’t afford to compete with that crowd.

What do I do when this sort of thing happens? I have a great much needed service and then upon research the market is too competitive to enter and driving traffic from PPC would bankrupt me.

Any help on how to find other phrases related to my business? Any online resources?

admin answers:

If the cost is too much via PPC, you could try the following :

Set-up an autoblog, add 1000 pages to it and check the traffic stats to see exactly what people are typing in to view your pages. The data will provide you with ideas regarding the keyword phrases that would be more helpful and less competitive for PPC.

This is what I use instead of using extensive PPC terms to test. There are tools that you can purchase that will set-up the autoblogs.
